This collaboration brings two new NFTs to the Toshimon ecosystem as a tribute to MoonCats, the Ponderware team, and the blockchain community as a whole.

Both NFTs are based on MoonCat #11038, and like all other Toshimon will be represented by their corresponding sprites while in-game!
The base card—“MoonCat”—will be available, for free, to all MoonCat holders. That’s right—FREE! A snapshot of wallet addresses holding MoonCats will be taken during the week of April 17, 2022. Each wallet address will be able to claim one Toshimon MoonCat NFT for free+gas at https://app.toshimon.io/store.
For the most dedicated MoonCat lovers, or those looking to get an upper hand in Toshimon battles, we are also releasing a more powerful MoonCat—“CUDLnaut”! This NFT will be limited to a max supply of 100 and will be available at https://app.toshimon.io/store for 0.1 ETH.
Stats & Movesets
MoonCat #11038 was rescued in 2021 and is an adorable pale teal/chartreuse grumpy tortie MoonCat. Its grumpy expression is reflected in-game by applying the grumpy demeanor, a special attack boost, to both NFTs.
In addition to their grumpy demeanor, these cats boast exceptional speed which guarantees the first strike against most Toshimon.
Catnip (100 power / 90 accuracy): a two-part move in which the user consumes catnip on the first turn, raising their special attack, and then strikes their opponent with a big attack on the second turn. Don’t eat too much catnip or else you might miss!
Acclimate: user enters the acclimator, causing them to skip a turn. User exits acclimator on the next turn with a HP boost and increased defense.
Pounce (80 power / 100 accuracy): user pounces high into the air and lands atop its opponent, striking them with all fours.
TuskTusk’s 1,000 Pixel Paw (120 power / 100 accuracy): the 1,000th MoonCat boutique accessory, created by TuskTusk! The user manipulates the pixels around them to assemble the 1,000 pixel paw and strikes its opponent with extreme force.
CUDL: user cuddles its opponent, making them drowsy. This lowers the opponents accuracy and has a chance of putting them to sleep. User receives a slight increase in defense.

The Toshimon x Ponderware cards will be the first Toshimon NFTs to have a back-side graphic. When flipped, both cards will display the partnership image as shown below:
Of course, Toshimon NFTs are 2-Dimensional images, so you won’t ever actually see the flip side…
Just kidding! Toshimon NFTs are receiving an update that will convert the boring 2D images into AR-ready 3D models! Both MoonCat cards will be minted in this format, allowing you to interact with your cards outside of the game, such as on Opensea, Aero, and various other applications that support .glb files.
In the weeks following the announcement of this partnership, all other existing Toshimon cards will be converted gradually. Back-side graphics will vary based on rarity.
